My vision for my Literacy Center Box came from paying attention to what teachers were saying about their Centers. They said they were changing them out each week, that it was becoming a chore, and that it was not fun anymore. They said they were exhausted with planning and taking a lot of time to change them out weekly.

So, I wanted to create activities where you could teach it one time, and your students would know how to do them for the rest of the year! So instead of changing them out weekly, these centers are meant to be changed out monthly. This box is meant to be purposeful, fun, and engaging for your students, but above all, easy prep for you! Hello! I'm Kara! 

 I'm a 26 year veteran teacher who has taught 1st grade, 3rd grade, and Title 1 Reading. My passion is not only teaching students but teaching and helping teachers as well. My hope is that you can take your classroom to the next level  and turn it into something that you are proud of!
